Article Writing

Article writing is a great way to drive traffic toward your site and is a great tool to use for those on a budget. Writing an article is absolutely free, it can build your credibility, and can generate more free traffic toward your site. When writing articles you want to utilize the same keywords you incorporated into your site and sprinkle them all over your articles so that you can get credit for them being considered relevant to your site. Unlike the site you have created to be your pitch page your articles should not contain a tone in which the person reading thinks you are trying to sell them something. The articles should only contain information about whatever it is you are offering. Remember that people who are usually reading articles are doing so to get information about something before they go out and buy. Using your keywords you want to construct a title that captures peoples attention such as “Calorie Shifting Diet for Idiots” or “Lose Weight Quick With New Calorie Shifting Diet” anything that will want to make readers click on your article. An easy layout for your articles would be to list in the introduction what you are going to inform the readers about. In the body write about each thing you listed in the introduction in detail. This should give you a few paragraphs. In the last paragraph conclude by reiterating what you have informed the reader about. For those of you who are scared of writing this is an easy 1-2-3 step process that will have you easily writing articles. I would suggest writing your articles in notepad or metapad first or something similar so that you can just copy and paste them into multiple article directories without any of the format changing. You can google “article directories” and you will find a top 50 list all listed by their Alexa rank and page rank. A few of the popular ones are ezinearticles.com and goarticles.com. You might want to look over the list and choose a couple more to use but definitely use the two I mentioned because they rank high on google and are easy to use. Each article directory will have a bio-box and this is usually where you will want to place the direct link back to your site. Read the guidelines to posting articles in the directories you choose to use because where you are allowed to place your link varies among them.
